WELCOME TO COTSWOLD PRESCHOOL & NURSERY

Opened in 1967, we are a non-profit, community-based Preschool, situated in the Bishopdale area. We have provided quality care and education for the children of our local community for over 50 years. We are also a peanut butter friendly centre.

24 FREE HOURS CHILDCARE

We are now offering 24 FREE HOURS for children 3 and over when they are enrolled for 6 hours a day for 4 days a week.

Our fees are $7.00 per hour or $245.00 for a full week (35 hours) or $ 280.00 (40 hours). Please note families may be eligible for a WINZ childcare subsidy.

Cotswold Preschool & Nursery is a 20 Hour ECE Centre for 3 and 4 year olds, up to 20 hours per week (6 hours a day max.). Above this we as a centre offer an extra 4 hours free to bring your free hours total up to 24 (must do all free hours with in our centre).

If you do a full week of 7 hour days your weekly fee would be $77.00 for full time care.

OUR PROGRAMMES

Our programmes are carefully crafted to meet the development of the each and every child. Each child has a Personal Profile Book in which their achievements and progress from their first day are recorded.

“When we first walked into Cotswold Preschool and Nursery we instantly knew our 2 children would thrive there. The school had a non-clinical feel about it. There was none of this 'us and them', creating a very family oriented atmosphere. Not only are the staff educators to our 2 children but they are friends. We also felt the Cultural Diversity within the school added to our children’s social development where they were coming home speaking Chinese, singing in Maori and dancing Indian dances - fantastic! The environmental education within the school is outstanding. Our 2 children still talk about the day they released the preschool baby Salmon back into the wild. I am sending my 2 year old little boy for past few weeks. Initially we thought it would be really hard for him to settle as he wanted us to stay along with him. The staff are experienced and they have different strategies in place that made our little one settled. We were planning to leave him there for just 3 days a week, but as the little one is well settled their and wants to stay and play outside along with his friends and teachers he will be going their for 5 days a week. They have a big play area at the back that every little kid enjoys. I would highly recommend for those who are planning to look out for nursery/pre school for their little one's in and around bishopdale. Special thanks to all staff for their dedication, hard work and support in shaping up the young minds.
